Saturday 7th August 2010,  Farmers' Market

In the Square from 9:00am until approximately 1:00pm.

Our Farmers' Market has a number of stalls in the Square (or the Town Hall if the weather's really bad) Usual stalls and produce include: bread; local beef; pork & poultry; lamb; buffalo meat; fish & fishcakes; olives; cream; soft yew's milk cheese; hard cheeses; cakes; local vegetables; plant stall; pickles & chutneys; ice cream. And of course don't forget our award-winning Axbridge Butchers in the Square, and why not visit the Crown, the Lamb, or the Oak House for food and refreshment.

There will also be a Beat Surgery run by our local PCSO in the Town Hall if you have anything you'd like to discuss with the police.


Saturday 28th August - Monday 30th August 2010,  Axbridge Pageant

It happens every ten years, so don't miss it! 3 performances (one on each of the bank holiday weekend days).

Saint John the Baptist Church, 7:30pm

The Friends of Axbridge Church invite you to come and relax and spend an evening with Cantores Literati. We can promise you a thoroughly enjoyable evening with something for everyone - from Finzi to Bernstein. Tickets £5. If you have a child under the age of 5 and live in Axbridge, make sure their name is on Santa's list, because Santa will be bringing them a present! Call in at the Co-Op or the Post Office to note down names.
