The Axbridge Family Group is a friendly meeting place for parents and carers of babies and young children, where adults can relax and chat with a cup of tea, and children can play alongside with a variety of toys and arts & crafts.

We are not too rowdy, and aim to be welcoming, so are an ideal ‘first group’ to come along to. Young babies enjoy watching the older ones play and we don’t mind the occasional tantrum!

Activities are deliberately not too structured, to make them suitable for all ages and to give you a chance to chat.

We meet in Axbridge Church Rooms on Wednesdays from 9.30 to 11.30 and all are welcome. The cost is 50p per family to cover tea and coffee. We provide a drink and snack for the children.

Feel free to just come along, or call Sally on 733576 or Anne on 732109 for further details. We do sometimes run trips out, e.g. to the local park or to a farm, so it is worth calling first.

We run as usual throughout the School holidays, we know that this can be a particularly stressful time for parents!
